How do I start learning?
Open the app and tap the Learn Path tab. You'll follow a personalized journey that combines vocabulary, grammar, and reading activities. Just tap the next available lesson to begin!
How does the spaced repetition system work?
Fluexo uses a scientifically-proven spaced repetition system (SRS) that schedules word reviews at optimal intervals. Words you find easy are reviewed less frequently, while difficult words appear more often. This ensures efficient, long-term memorization.
Can I change my learning level?
Yes! You can adjust your level during onboarding or later in the app. The Learn Path adapts to your proficiency level, offering content from A1 (beginner) to C2 (proficient).
How do I change the English accent?
Go to Settings and find the TTS (Text-to-Speech) accent option. You can switch between American English (US) and British English (UK) pronunciation.
What can I use for free?
The first unit at your placement level and all of its activities are free. Premium unlocks all units and levels, stories, grammar, and games without ads. There is no daily usage timer or rewarded-ad time extension. Free users may see G-rated interstitial ads, at most three per day and none in the first 72 hours.
How do I cancel my subscription?
To cancel your subscription:
iOS: Settings > Your Name > Subscriptions > Fluexo > Cancel Subscription
Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
How do I restore my purchases?
Go to Settings > Subscription > Restore Purchases in the app. This will sync your subscription status if you've reinstalled the app or changed devices.
Is my data synced across devices?
Yes, if you're signed in with Apple, Google, or email, your learning progress automatically syncs across all your devices. Guest progress syncs to an anonymous Supabase account; a persistent device identifier may automatically recover it after reinstalling on the same device. Recovery is not guaranteed. Sign in with Apple, Google, or email for access across devices.
How do I delete my account?
Go to Profile > Settings > Account > Delete Account in the app and confirm. Access and leaderboard visibility end immediately; permanent deletion takes place within 30 days. Cancel any App Store subscription separately in Apple ID settings. For help, visit our account deletion page.
How do I export my data?
Go to Settings > Data > Download My Data. Your learning progress, vocabulary data, and all account information will be exported as a JSON file. This feature is available for logged-in users.
How do I report a username?
Open League and use the ⋯ menu on the username’s leaderboard row, including a podium row, to report or block it. Reports are reviewed within 24 hours. Offensive, hateful, sexual, and impersonating names are prohibited. To leave the leaderboard, turn off “Show me on the League leaderboard” in Profile > Settings.
